Counselling involves talking to someone who is trained to help you make sense of, and start to change, what is troubling you, in a safe, non-judgmental and confidential environment.
We can work together to unfold your personal story, to help you gain greater understanding and acceptance of your issues and difficulties.
My aim is to support you as you develop these insights and begin to make changes.
It will help you address immediate problems and habits that are affecting you, with the aim of identifying their roots and influence over your relationships, both past and present. A focus on early and past experiences and how they impact on the person you are today can lead to deep and lasting change.
Throughout my sessions I use different techniques which I think could benefit you to assist your healing process, such as positive affirmations to help change thoughts about the self, guided meditation to build your self-esteem and confidence, mindfulness to be in the moment right now, journaling to write down your thoughts and feelings, and relaxation to unwind relax and de-stress.
You have the freewill to make the choice whether to use these tools or not.
I am also experienced in helping people with:

– a sense of meaninglessness and lack of fulfillment in life
– stress: anxiety, feeling overwhelmed, depression
